With its award-winning cuisine, relaxing spa services, and stunning pool complex, this premier meeting venue will be the location of The 2011 Avatar Wizard Course.

Amenities

Each guest room includes , high-speed internet access*, cable/satellite television, alarm clock with MP3 player, hair dryer, complimentary coffee/tea, iron and ironing board. There are a number of restaurants and lounges on the resort property serving a wide variety of cuisine. Recreation includes an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, a full-service boutique spa and 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts and a game room. The pool complex features a massive outdoor pool with waterfalls and waterslides, two additional outdoor pools, two children's pools, one indoor pool and six whirlpool tubs. Other services provided by the resort are car rentals, currency exchange, business center, retail shops, same-day laundry and dry cleaning services. Parking is $13.85 self-parking; $23.43 for valet parking overnight.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are refunded or credited only if cancellation notice is received by the hotel 3 days prior to arrival.

Travel

The Orlando World Center Marriott is 17 miles from Orlando International Airport. Mears Transportation provides regularly scheduled transportation to and from the airport from 6:30am to 6:30pm. Roundtrip tickets are $29usd. From Interstate 4 take Exit 67 (SR 535 East) and the hotel will be on the left.

Important Note

Reviewers who stay outside the Star’s Edge room block are required to pay a $300 production fee. Staying outside the room block includes not only staying elsewhere, but also staying at the host hotel and not being included in the Star’s Edge room block, as when you book through some other discount program or travel agent. Reserve early to avoid the production fee. Star’s Edge has reserved a large block of rooms but cannot guarantee reviewers will have a room in the room block. Reservations made after the deadlines will be accepted on a space available basis.
